General Description: This Program is designed for those individuals familiar with the Medicare Cost Report (MCR) worksheets and schedules and the fundamentals of Medicare Reimbursement, who are currently responsible for the preparation and/or review of the MCR. This case study approach will concentrate on areas of importance in the reporting and reimbursement for Prospective Payment Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals. Course materials will include a sample of a completed Form CMS 2552-10.  This Program is very interactive and encourages participation. Please bring topics of discussion, concerns and questions!

  • Techniques on how to efficiently prepare for the Medicare Administrative Contractor’s reviews/audits and respond timely and effectively to their requests
  • Time allotted for questions/concerns/discussion
