The Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) chapters in New England have developed this webinar to specifically address topics of value for the Finance, Billing and Front-End staff of Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providers.

  • Protecting 340B Program Revenue - ATRIA 340B by Hudson Headwaters

With a goal of stretching scarce federal resources as far as possible to reach more eligible patients and provide more comprehensive services, 340B program leaders are tasked with protecting the revenue generated from their 340B program revenue. The goal of this session is to discuss various fee models seen in 340B program management to examine trends that could threaten program benefit, and discuss the tools you may already have to adequately monitor your program. Going one step further. Additionally, we will be diving into how to share your use of savings in a constantly changing political landscape.

  • FQHC Reimbursement and the Importance of the Medicare Cost Report for the FQHC - Marcum LLP

This session will cover changes to the Medicare cost report software (Form 224-14) and go over the general filing instructions and standard information needed for the cost report. In addition, we'll discuss how and why there may be a settlement as a result of the cost report and will also provide background of how the PPS payment system was developed and updates to the base rates for 2020. Lastly, we'll discuss recent reimbursement updates such as care management services and virtual communication services.

 Controllers, Billing Managers and Staff, and Front-end Staff. Non-HFMA members are always welcome.
